Parcel Pick Up & Delivery Service for the Customers at Door Step. Although the Initiative began with a view to Provide Service in the Rural & Remote parts of India, where the Public Transportation is almost Nil, now the Service is Available in all Villages, Towns, Cities of Karnataka State. Very soon the Service would be Extended to Neighbouring States and then across Pan India. The Purpose of this Service is to Enable Logistics Services for the Parcels Weighing between 1 Kilo Gram to 100 Kilo Grams and/or Volumes of 1 Cubic Foot to 20 Cubic Feet.
About Promoter :
Uday S Desai - Hails from a Village - Kiresur near Hubballi in Northern Part of Karnataka State, Studied in Sainik School Bijapur and Graduated in Computer Science & Engineering from B V Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology Hubballi. Started Entrepreneurship Journey in 1993 as a PMRY (Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojna) Beneficiary. Acquired Technical Expertise in Security Systems Integration, IT Enabled Services, Mobile Applications and Managerial Skills in Sales & Marketing. Running own Businesses for the past 25+ years.
Inspiration for ParcelGaadi:
The Promoter has already Launched a Rural Oriented IT Service Initiative “GraminSeva” Mobile Application. This Application that Eases the Day to Day Life in Rural & Remote India, with a Bouquet of Variety Services.Among all these Services, the Rural Logistics was Found to be the Most Needed in the Current Scenario. Hence, the Idea to Provide Door To Door Pick Up & Delivery of Parcels, from and to, any Remote Place was Conceptualized. Thus, a Very User Friendly, and PIN Code Independent Logisticts Service is being Implemented.
